Exanodes recognized as industry’s best at annual Techworld Awards
Boston, June 23, 2008 – Seanodes, the inventor and leading developer of Shared Internal Storage solutions, was named as the winner of the “Storage Virtualization Product of the Year” award at the Techworld Awards 2008 gala ceremony June 11, recognized for its “true innovation within the IT industry.”
The Techworld Awards recognize products and users from the European IT industry that make a significant difference in the networking and infrastructure community. Seanodes won the “Storage Virtualization Product of the Year” award, as chosen by an independent panel of industry figures and editorial members of Techworld, for its Exanodes software, which virtualizes application server disks across a server infrastructure, eliminating the need for dedicated storage hardware while setting new and unrivaled standards for performance, reliability and availability through self-healing features, and costs through re-utilization of existing, unused commoditized disks of application servers. It beat out solutions from fellow finalists DataCore Software and SANRAD.
“While it was an honor and a privilege to be recognized as a finalist for the Techworld Awards, we feel even more ecstatic about being named as the product of the year for our Exanodes software,” said Jacques Baldinger, CEO of Seanodes. “By creating a solution that reduces the costs, complexity and headaches of managing today’s network storage environments, we have delivered on our promise to provide a groundbreaking new way to share storage among underutilized disks, allowing users to profit from the capacity, performance and reliability benefits that Shared Internal Storage provides.”
