Boston, April 14, 2008 – Seanodes, the leading developer and inventor of Shared Internal Storage solutions, is one of five companies named as a “Cool Vendor” by leading analyst firm Gartner Inc. in an April first 2008 report entitled “Cool Vendors in Storage, 2008” authored by principal research analyst Donna Taylor.
The Gartner report included Seanodes’ SIS technology as “an alternative to traditional external storage capacity expansion” as part of its look at storage vendors providing storage options outside the mainstream.
"We are pleased to have earned the recognition of such a prestigious analyst firm as Gartner and are proud to be included in this year’s ‘Cool Vendors in Storage’ report," said Jacques Baldinger, CEO of Seanodes. "To be among the short list of companies thought to be reasonable alternatives to traditional storage vendors is indeed an honor and one we intend to live up to by continuing to provide customers with the ability to reclaim underutilized internal disk capacity residing in their own servers, enabling them to reduce costs, complexity and management issues inherent with unstructured data sprawl found in many of today’s storage infrastructures.”
